InterOss® Collagen Plug is an an organic hydroxyapatite–collagen composite designed for socket preservation and other periodontal, oral, and maxillofacial applications. It is composed of approximately 90% bovine-derived hydroxyapatite granules and 10% highly purified collagen fibers, combined and molded into a cylindrical plug form for easy placement into extraction
sockets and confined defects.
The mineral component exhibits a natural cancellous bone structure analogous to human bone, providing an osteoconductive matrix that supports the migration and attachment of osteogenic cells from the surrounding viable bone. Its interconnected porosity enables the diffusion of
body fluids and growth factors, facilitating bone regeneration and remodeling.
 
Indications for Use
InterOss® Collagen is indicated for the filling of extraction sockets to enhance the preservation of the alveolar ridge.

The product is recommended for:
• Filling of extraction sockets to enhance preservation of the alveolar ridge
• Filling of periodontal defects in conjunction with product intended for guided tissue regeneration (GTR) and guided bone regeneration (GBR)
