Lateral Plate Preservation with Augma Bond Apatite®

Case Report: The patient is a female, 60 year old, non-smoker. She presented with loss of the lateral plate following an infection on root fracture #25 (13). Implant placement occurs 5 months after bone preservation with Augma Bond Apatite®.

Wound Dressing: The wound dressing protects the wound from the oral environment during healing process.

Reopening: Restoration of the lateral plate. True, new, bioactive bone.

Conclusion: 5 months after the bone preservation with Augma Bond Apatite®, the cortical plate is fully restored and the bioactive true new bone allowed the implant placement in a preserved bone volume.
